HATRA Fall+Winter 2025 「WALKER」

 

HATRAはものづくりの核心をデジタル・フィジカル問わず「LIMINAL WEAR」と定義しています。聞き慣れない言葉かもしれませんが、リミナルは例えば旅や祭といった、一時的にソーシャルバランスが浮遊している状況と言えるかもしれません。

FW25コレクション「WALKER」は、衣服が物理的に、または意味的に揺れることについての観察を起点に制作されています。 着用者の動きによって絶え間なく変化し、さまざまなイメージが生まれては消え去っていくこと、HATRAでは、この非連続的な変化を「瞬き」と呼んでいます。

数シーズンにわたりHATRAが探求してきた、生成AIとファッションの奇妙なこの関係について「瞬き」というアイデアから、一つの視点を提供します。

HATRA defines the core of its creative practice—across both digital and physical realms—as "LIMINAL WEAR." "Liminal" might be an unfamiliar word, but it can describe temporary states where social balance seems momentarily suspended, much like journeys or festivals.

The FW25 collection, "WALKER," revolves around the concept of clothing that shifts physically or symbolically. As the wearer moves, garments continuously transform, generating fleeting images that emerge and disappear. HATRA refers to these discontinuous shifts as "winker" Over recent seasons, HATRA has explored the peculiar relationship between generative AI and fashion. 

This collection offers one perspective on that relationship through the concept of "winker."
